"I began involvement with WID in March of 2018 as a volunteer to assist with updating the website and designing registration for Picatinny WID's annual Bring Your Child to Work Day and Introduce a Teen to Engineering events. Since then, I have continued maintaining current events on the site and is continuing her work as the official Web Master and PR officer.
I earned my BS in Mathematics from Saint Michael's College in Colchester, VT with a minor in computer science. This academic combination led me to a computer scientist position with Picatinny's Armament Software Engineering Center (ASEC) shortly after graduating with her bachelor's degree. I work on artificial intelligence and machine learning research projects with a focus in data analytics and making life easier for the warfighter. I hope to continue fostering a network of great women to have fun while developing professionally. I enjoy any arts and crafts, from crocheting and knitting to attempting to paint canvases. I love to cook new meals after work to keep dinnertime new and exciting. In the end, I love creating things." |
