"I am the Deputy Director for the Munitions Portfolio under Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S). I am responsible for analyzing, managing, and informing acquisition and resourcing decisions in the Platform and Weapons Portfolio Management (PWPM) Surface Warfare Directorate. In this role, I am responsible for acquisition shaping, analysis, and oversight of DoD land-based munition domains. I work closely with military leaders to ensure that munitions requirements are met and delivered to respond quickly to changing situations or shifts in military operating priorities.
In my prior roles, I have served as a Program Manager in both the Navy and Army for conventional ammunition, a Portfolio Manager supporting Army Industrial Base activities and was selected as a senior executive fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School and is a graduate of the Navy’s NAVSEA Commander’s Executive Fellowship Program (CEFP). I earned a PhD in Organizational Management and Leadership from Capella University, has a Master’s in Business Administration and International Programs from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology. I am a Project Management Professional (PMP), and a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps. I am an advocate of encouraging young women and minorities to consider a career in STEM, offers mentoring for women interested in advancing their careers and raises awareness of the service that the Women in Defense (WID) organization provides to our nation and the Warfighter. I enjoy reading about military history, golfing, touring wineries and spending time with family & friends." |
"I am a Strategic Analyst for HQ ARDEC working on the ARDEC Strategic Plan and activities associated with the Strategic Transformation Office. I earned my MAS in Administrative Science from Fairleigh Dickenson University and BA in Multidisciplinary Studies from Caldwell College. I have been involved with both Women in Defense and NDIA since 2004 chairing many events and as former Chapter President from 2010 – 2014.
My goal is to continue to share the benefits of the Women in Defense organization to the Picatinny Community. Outside of work I am an active member of my church. Some of my hobbies include sewing, quilting, and spending time with family and friends." |
"I began involvement with WID in March of 2018 as a volunteer to assist with updating the website and designing registration for Picatinny WID's annual Bring Your Child to Work Day and Introduce a Teen to Engineering events. Since then, I have continued maintaining current events on the site and is continuing her work as the official Web Master and PR officer.
I earned my BS in Mathematics from Saint Michael's College in Colchester, VT with a minor in computer science. This academic combination led me to a computer scientist position with Picatinny's Armament Software Engineering Center (ASEC) shortly after graduating with her bachelor's degree. I work on artificial intelligence and machine learning research projects with a focus in data analytics and making life easier for the warfighter. I hope to continue fostering a network of great women to have fun while developing professionally. I enjoy any arts and crafts, from crocheting and knitting to attempting to paint canvases. I love to cook new meals after work to keep dinnertime new and exciting. In the end, I love creating things." |
"As the president and CEO of WisEngineering, LLC., I have consistently worked to align business practices with the unique requirements of defense contracting. My previous roles as Software Manager, Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, and as an independent consultant have helped me succeed as CEO of a rapidly expanding engineering company.
I earned my MBA in Project Management at Florida Institute of Technology and my bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems at Northeastern University. I am an active member in the business community and in several professional associations, including the Association of the United States Army and the National Defense Industrial Association. My goal in serving on this committee is to engage organizations within the Picatinny defense community as well as participate in outreach to the greater tri-state area. I looks forward to sharing my insight and experience on the challenges that come with operating a Woman Owned Small Business and addressing how women are making a positive impact on the industry itself. In my free time, I like to meet friends for golf outings and city bike riding and have participated in many organized rides in New York City and New Jersey. I am an active promoter of STEM outreach programs and enjoys the engaging with inner city school students. " |
