The scholarships described below are open to graduating high school seniors with plans to enroll in a two or four-year accredited institution during the upcoming academic school year in addition to the criteria specified below.
One $1,500 award will be made to a female graduate who has demonstrated a commitment to community service
One $2,000 award will be made to a graduate who is the child, grandchild, or dependent of an Active Duty Serve Member or Honorably Discharged Veteran. Applicants are required to provide proof of military service.
One $1,000 award will be made to a graduate who has demonstrated a commitment to a team, cause, or organization.
One $1,000 award will be made to a graduate who is the child of a member of the Picatinny community and has demonstrated commitment to his or her high school sports team.
2017 Women in Defense Scholarship:
